Tickets on sale now to follow UAA at GNAC Basketball tourneys

PORTLAND, Ore. (Feb. 24) – With both Alaska Anchorage teams having now qualified, Seawolves fans can begin making their plans to attend the 2014 Great Northwest Athletic Conference Basketball Championships, set for Mar. 5-8 in Lacey, Wash.

Tickets are on sale online at reduced prices, with tournament passes for $48 (reserved seating), $32 (general admission) and $16 (student/youth and seniors).  Single-session tickets are $12 (reserved seating), $8 (general admission) and $4 (student/youth and seniors).

Ticket prices at the door are $55 (reserved), $40 (GA) and $20 (student/youth/seniors).  Single-session tickets at the door are $15 (reserved), $10 (GA) and $6 (student/youth/seniors).

The first session begins Wednesday, March 5, with men's first-round games at noon and 2:15 p.m. PST.  The noon game will match the No. 3 and No. 6 seeds, while the 2:15 p.m. game will send the No. 5 seed against the No. 4 seed.

The second session will feature the women's first-round games at 5:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The 5:15 p.m. game will match the No. 3 and No. 6 seeds, while the 7:30 p.m. game will send the No. 5 seed against the No. 4 seed.

Neither UAA team has been locked into seeding position, so please check GoSeawolves.com on Saturday night for tip-time and opponent information.

The winner of each tournament earns an automatic berth in the NCAA Men's and Women's West Regional tournaments, set for March 14-17.

WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON SESSION: Noon - Men's First Round (#3 seed vs. #6 seed).  2:15 p.m. - Men's First Round (#4 seed vs. #5 seed). (Note: Pavilion will be cleared at end of session).
WEDNESDAY EVENING SESSION: 5:15 p.m. - Women's First Round (#3 seed vs. #6 seed).  7:30 p.m. - Women's First Round (#4 seed vs. #5 seed). 
THURSDAY: 5:15 p.m. - Men's Semifinals, #3/#6 winner vs. #2 seed.  7:30 p.m. - Men's Semifinal, #4/#5 winner vs. #1 seed.
FRIDAY: 5:15 p.m. - Women's Semifinals, #3/#6 winner vs. #2 seed.  7:30 p.m. - Women's Semifinal, #4/#5 winner vs. #1 seed.
SATURDAY: 5:15 p.m. - Men's Championship game.  7:30 p.m. - Women's Championship game.  (Note: Winners advance to West Regionals Mar. 14-17).
